China has launched a new type of power transformer. Substation can also be built in the building

Release time:2022-04-14

With the increasingly saturated construction land resources in large cities, the research on "indoor, miniaturization and oil-free" of substations is of great significance for realizing the coordinated development of substation construction and economic, social and ecological environment. Recently, Shenzhen Aodian High Voltage Electric Co., Ltd. released its innovative product - 220kV evaporative cooling power transformer. As the key to promote the implementation of the "embedded auxiliary substation" project, the new power transformer will realize the construction of substations in the high-density urban center.

It is reported that 220kV evaporative cooling power transformer uses new fluorocarbon material as insulation cooling medium, which has no flash point, no combustion and no explosion, and realizes the integration of fire protection, environmental protection and heat dissipation. "Compared with the past products, this product has a higher voltage level, a new high capacity of incombustible power transformer, and is more energy-saving, more environmentally friendly and more efficient." Xiao Xia, chairman of Shenzhen Aodian High Voltage Electric Co., Ltd., said that the product took five years to develop, breaking through a series of key technical problems. Among them, Shenzhen has played a great role in providing a good environment for innovative technology.

Li Hanming, the former deputy chief engineer of Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau Co., Ltd., believes that 220kV evaporative cooling power transformer is a landmark breakthrough product in the history of power transformer technology. On the one hand, it can put an end to the fire and explosion accidents of power transformers and ensure the safety of people's lives and property; On the other hand, the evaporative cooling power transformer can be "embedded" into the office area, production area and living area, greatly saving urban land space.

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is densely populated and has a huge demand for electricity. Take Shenzhen as an example. In 2019, Shenzhen's power load reached 19.1 million kilowatts, ranking first in the country. There are about 270 substations in Shenzhen, and more than 100 will be built in the future, which will cover a huge area according to the conventional construction. It is estimated that if the embedded auxiliary substation is replaced, only Guangming District of Shenzhen City can reduce more than 10 substations.

Jia Xingdong, director of Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, said that in many large cities, due to the increasingly saturated land resources available for construction, promoting the construction of embedded auxiliary substations is of great significance for improving the comprehensive development efficiency of land and the coordinated development of economic, social and ecological environment.
