1. Purpose:

1.1. Shielding test room is mainly used for partial discharge test of electrical products to prevent interference of electromagnetic wave from space to partial discharge test and ensure the accuracy of partial discharge test data;

1.2. Applied products: various insulating parts, medium-voltage switchgear, GIS high-voltage switch, cable and cable accessories, mutual inductor, power transformer, high-voltage circuit breaker, capacitor bushing, motor, lightning arrester, photovoltaic products and other high-voltage electrical components and insulating materials;

2. Function:

2.1. The main function of the shielding room is to isolate the external electromagnetic interference and ensure the normal operation of the indoor electronic and electrical equipment; Especially in the measurement and testing of electronic components and electrical equipment, the electromagnetic shielding room (or darkroom) is used to simulate the ideal electromagnetic environment to improve the accuracy of the test results;

2.2. The shielded room is mainly used for partial discharge test to ensure the accuracy of partial discharge test;

2.3. As one of the main interference sources in the space electromagnetic interference partial discharge test, the shielding room is the best method to eliminate the space electromagnetic interference in the partial discharge test;

2.4. Causes of spatial electromagnetic interference: such as nearby high-voltage live equipment or high-voltage transmission and distribution lines, static or magnetic induction and electromagnetic radiation such as radio communication, and high-frequency signals such as silicon controlled rectifier;

2.5. Space electromagnetic interference is generally directly coupled through space. When the partial discharge test circuit is not closed, the space interference will be large, resulting in the inability to conduct the partial discharge test;
